Guidelines Agreement
As the CEO of Harbor Shores Cleaning Company, I take great pride in being responsible for the care of your home and the service provided by our employees. Please review our guidelines, which are designed to help you receive the best service possible.
You are a valued client, and we strive to serve you with excellence! If you have any questions regarding our guidelines, please do not hesitate to reach out to our office for support. Being welcomed into someone’s home and caring for their possessions is a responsibility we take seriously, and we approach every job with care and respect. If we ever fall short of your expectations, we welcome your feedback. Our goal is to minimize any unresolved issues and make things right for you to the best of our ability!
CLIENT EXPERIENCE
- We provide trained, insured, bonded, and highly vetted professional technicians to complete the scope of work approved by you.
- Our technicians are not authorized to alter any work orders without office approval. If you would like to adjust your service, please contact us!
- Our technicians are not equipped to clean biohazards, pest infestations, or other potentially infectious materials.
GETTING READY FOR YOUR CLEANING
- Please provide access information for your home prior to your scheduled cleaning.
- If you have specific instructions regarding your service, you can contact us via our direct text line.
- If an area is more than 50% cluttered, we may need to work around the items to ensure we complete the job efficiently.
BREAKAGE OR DAMAGE

Accidents happen! We do our best to prevent them, but we ask that you move any expensive, fragile, or sentimental items to a safe place.

You will be notified immediately of any incidents. If you find something after we have left, please report it immediately, provide photos, and save the item for inspection.
PAYMENTS

All clients are required to have an up-to-date credit/debit card on file for automatic payment processing.

We accept checks at the time of service. If mailing a check, it must be received in advance.

We do not accept cash payments.
TIPPING

You can reply to our cleaning completion message to add a tip if you choose.

Our technicians accept cash tips with clear instructions left for them.

Tips are appreciated but never required!
CANCELLATIONS

Please provide at least 72 business hours’ notice for appointment cancellations.

If you cancel within 48 business hours, a cancellation fee applies.

Same-day cancellations will be charged the full-service amount.
PAUSING / SKIPPING

A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required to pause or skip services.

For recurring clients, we aim to reschedule within the same week.

If a service is skipped, a $20 fee per week applies. Pauses longer than a month require a general clean before recurring services resume.
SCHEDULING

Please allow a 30-minute arrival window before or after your scheduled appointment.

Weekly and bi-weekly schedules are locked in for consistency.
GUARANTEE

We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not happy with your service, contact us within 24 business hours so we can make it right!
REFERRALS

Enjoy $100 off your service when you refer someone who becomes a weekly or bi-weekly client.
AIR CONDITIONING / HEATING
-
Our technicians may adjust the thermostat for comfort but will return it to the original setting when they leave.
WINTER MONTHS
-
Driveways, sidewalks, and entryways must be clear of snow and ice to ensure safe access to your home.
PRODUCTS
- We provide our own cleaning products and equipment.
- If you request that we use your products, we are not responsible for any damage as our technicians are not trained to use them.
HOLIDAYS
-
We are closed on major holidays including Labor Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. We will reach out to reschedule services around these dates.
RATE INCREASES

We may raise rates at any time with advance notice. Expect an annual increase of 2-3% due to rising supply and labor costs.
REVIEWS

Are you satisfied with our service? Please leave a 5-star Google Review! If we didn’t meet your expectations, let us know so we can improve.
SAFETY

For safety reasons, we ask that children and pets be kept away from cleaning areas.
PHOTO POLICY

We may take non-personal before and after photos for quality assurance and record-keeping.
SOLICITING EMPLOYEES

Harbor Shores Cleaning Company invests significantly in recruiting and training qualified cleaning technicians. The client agrees not to hire or solicit current or former Harbor Shores Cleaning Company employees for one year after this agreement ends, without written consent and a $2,500 referral fee. After the fee is paid, Harbor Shores Cleaning Company is no longer responsible for the referred employee. Breach requires payment within 14 days; failure to pay allows legal action, including monetary damages and injunctive relief.
